Job Overview

This role involves operating and maintaining key machinery utilized in copper tube production, ensuring smooth processes and high-quality output.

Key Duties

• Operate various manufacturing equipment including casting, rolling, drawing & grooving machines, level winders, annealing furnaces, and finishing tools.
• Monitor production activities to maintain steady workflow, meet targets, and promptly address any operational anomalies.
• Conduct frequent quality inspections on in-process and finished products to confirm compliance with defined quality metrics.
• Execute routine upkeep like lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs to prevent equipment failures and ensure machinery readiness, also managing spare part availability.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective solutions to restore machine functionality.
• Strictly follow safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment and proper lockout/tagout during maintenance.
• Maintain detailed documentation on production data, maintenance logs, and quality checks aligned with company standards.
• Collaborate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and maintenance teams to resolve challenges and achieve operational goals.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights and adopting best practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
