Job description
Position Overview
As a Spa Attendant at this luxury hotel on Saadiyat Island, you'll play a key supporting role in ensuring guests have a memorable and exceptional spa experience. Your duties will involve promoting spa treatments and retail products, managing reservations, greeting and checking in guests, responding to inquiries, and handling transactions smoothly as an integrated part of their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote spa services and retail offerings to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage appointment bookings and confirm reservations efficiently using the reservation system.
- Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in, and answer any questions regarding spa treatments and policies.
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately, making them part of the overall guest experience.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Ensure personal appearance and communication consistently reflect the high standards of the establishment.
- Remain physically active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, moving over varied surfaces, and performing light lifting tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- No prior experience or supervisory background required.
- Ability to perform physical duties such as prolonged standing, walking, lifting objects up to 10 pounds independently or 25 pounds with assistance, bending, and reaching.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and visually verifying information accurately.
