Senior Relationship Officer

About the Role

The Senior Relationship Officer will be responsible for managing mortgage loan processes and client relationships in Chennai. The position focuses on property financing, including loans for buying property or securing loans against existing real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business leads through cold calls, field visits, and market analysis.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with channel associates, builders, and direct-selling agents to expand the client base.
• Conduct face-to-face client consultations to explain mortgage product offerings, interest rates, and eligibility criteria.
• Manage collection and verification of client financial documents and prepare files for underwriting.
• Achieve or surpass established monthly targets for client sourcing, loan sanctioning, and disbursement.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in any field; degrees in Finance or Commerce are preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of field sales experience within banks, NBFCs, or retail asset loan sectors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills along with proficiency in the local language.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license and personal vehicle for local client visits.

The role involves handling significant loan amounts secured against immovable assets, thus default risks may lead to foreclosure procedures by lenders. This position requires strong client engagement and thorough documentation management to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges from 18000 to 55000 INR.
