Role overview

A well-established audit and accounting practice in Dublin is looking to bring on an experienced Audit Senior. This opportunity is aimed at a professional accountant who wants to grow within a forward-moving firm that offers clear career progression and a competitive compensation package, along with hybrid working.

The ideal person will be part-qualified or newly qualified and will bring at least 3 years of practice experience. This position suits someone ready to move into an Audit Senior role in a supportive and ambitious environment.

Responsibilities

Handle audit work across a broad mix of industries and market sectors.
Support audit planning, including allocating staff and managing deadlines.
Take part in client meetings at both the planning stage and completion stage of audits.
Prepare financial statements and deliver well-structured, high-quality working papers.
Complete audit files and ensure assignments are finished through to final sign-off.
Help train and support trainees as needed.

Requirements

Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA.
Solid background in audit work.
Strong technical accounting ability.
Good experience in preparing accounts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and a clear drive to build a long-term career in practice.

Salary and benefits

The salary range for this role is €65,000 to €75,000 depending on experience. The package also includes pension contributions, progression opportunities, payment of membership fees, ongoing training, an annual bonus, hybrid working, tax saver travel, and access to a social club. The office is close to the Dart station, with a free shuttle bus running from the park to the Dart stations.
