Job Responsibilities

• Organize daily tasks independently within designated work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in workshops and workspaces while ensuring proper care and storage of tools.
• Support in diagnosing and repairing faults on various equipment, vehicles, and plants, minimizing downtime.
• Accurately log all work activities during shifts into maintenance management systems or logbooks.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures to prevent injuries and damage during maintenance operations.
• Communicate with senior technicians about required spare parts and tools to enable timely maintenance completion.
• Assist in scheduled maintenance aligned with manufacturer guidelines, ISO standards, safety protocols, and legal regulations for optimal equipment operation.
• Help in daily inspections to assess operational reliability and safety, facilitating preventive maintenance planning.
• Complete assigned tasks related to Unit Load Device (ULD) repairs and assembly following manuals, regulatory guidelines (EASA/GCAA), and safety standards.
• Support facility equipment maintenance and repair including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assist in servicing Ground Power Units (GPU), Preconditioned Air (PCA) units, and generators.

Qualifications

• Completed a 2-year trade certificate in engineering with experience in maintenance focused on facilities, automotive, electrical, civil mechanics, or related fields within large maintenance operations, preferably in aviation ground support or cargo handling.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive air conditioning, and refrigeration systems related to light vehicles or material handling equipment; knowledge of ground support or heavy vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
• Additional training on hydraulics, lifting equipment, conveyors, PLCs, motor controls, and traction batteries & chargers is desirable.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Good understanding of Manuals of Equipment (MOE), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations, and safety standards applicable to ULD operations.
• Experience in workshop settings is essential for ULD-related roles.
