About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding international financial services firm with operations spanning several countries, is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their Dublin-based finance team. This position offers the chance to engage closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and C-suite, and may involve travel to locations in Europe and the US. The role provides a comprehensive exposure to financial accounting, reporting, controls, and other finance functions, promising significant career development in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
- Compile financial data, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls within the organization.
- Support statutory reporting and audit activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various international offices.
- Identify and suggest improvements to reporting workflows and efficiencies.
- Participate in finance projects and initiatives aligned with company growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant designation (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience in financial services either in practice or industry.
- Proficient in financial accounting and reporting practices.
- Sound knowledge of financial control frameworks and month-end processes.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A motivated finance professional aiming for broad exposure and interaction with senior management.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a salary of €70,000 per annum, along with bonuses, pension contributions, and health insurance benefits.
