Role Overview
We seek a tech-oriented and highly organized Facility Coordinator to manage and enhance facilities operations across multiple locations. This position involves more than just routine coordination; it requires establishing systems, optimizing processes, and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), collaborating closely with external vendors to guarantee consistent and effective maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities across several sites.
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure prompt and high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor maintenance requests and ensure their completion.
- Assist in implementing maintenance tracking systems.
- Help create straightforward SOPs and workflow procedures.
- Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and transparency.
- Maintain records of facilities and maintenance tasks.
- Track service schedules and history of maintenance.
- Support the generation of basic reporting and tracking dashboards.
- Occasionally provide audiovisual setup for meetings and events, with training provided.
- Assist with event setups as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or coordination roles.
- Proficient with digital platforms such as Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks from inception to completion.
- Keen interest in learning about systems, SOP creation, and process enhancements.
- Effective communication abilities and a proactive work ethic.
