MTU Maintenance Serbia, a wholly owned subsidiary, invites skilled professionals to join their team in Nova Pazova.
Role Overview
As a Documentation Specialist within the Quality Management department, your core responsibility will focus on verifying and maintaining accurate aircraft engine records to ensure comprehensive technical documentation. This role involves managing technical engine data, archiving documents, and coordinating with multiple MTU departments to enhance documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine customer-submitted aircraft engine records to verify completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and input technical engine data into internal IT systems.
- Maintain and update databases with detailed technical data such as life-limited parts, parts tracking, accessory records, usage logs, maintenance events, and technical specifications.
- Assess documentation associated with life-limited components to calculate remaining operational cycles.
- Archive customer documentation systematically and manage physical records inventory.
- Coordinate document shipments and retrievals as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Customer Account Management, and Purchasing across various MTU branches.
- Drive continuous improvements in documentation operations and participate in projects targeting enhanced tool integration and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- A university degree is required.
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is preferable, especially related to technical or quality documentation.
- Familiarity with aircraft technical processes and compliance or quality standards is desirable.
- Experience with quality control and document management systems is appreciated.
- Ability and readiness to work in a multicultural and international environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Conversational proficiency in English is required.
