Customer Service Assistant

Role Overview

The Customer Service Assistant will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service in a retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to ensure smooth store operations and high standards throughout the day. Responsibilities include opening and closing the shop, managing cash transactions, processing bets accurately, and maintaining an inviting shop presentation.

Key Duties

• Support the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in daily shop activities.
• Assume leadership of the shop and team in the absence of managers, including opening and closing duties and cash handling.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers with betting transactions via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by promoting the multi-channel and digital betting experience to customers.
• Maintain shop presentation and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Work effectively under pressure while striving for personal and shop improvement.
• Adhere to Social Responsibility commitments and foster a strong team-oriented environment.

• Flexible availability due to shop operating seven days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
