Category Procurement Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Category Procurement Manager to oversee the complete procurement process for the marketing category. The role includes consolidating demands, sourcing suppliers, negotiating commercially, executing contracts, and managing delivery. You will also support cross-border and international procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for designated marketing categories including demand consolidation, supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract execution and delivery oversight.
• Lead supplier evaluation, development, KPI establishment, and ongoing performance management.
• Establish and nurture sustainable supplier relationships while optimizing the supplier base for quality and timely delivery.
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor landscapes, and industry shifts to adjust procurement strategies and supplier allocations proactively.
• Develop and enhance category management frameworks and explore innovative procurement models that support evolving business requirements and facilitate growth.
• Implement cost control and optimization measures through negotiation, contract oversight, and process improvements to reduce spend and boost efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
• Over 5 years of procurement experience with at least 2 years focused on client/buyer responsibilities.
• Experience in marketing procurement is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of procurement in the internet industry, along with excellent business acumen, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with procurement processes, commercial operations, and supplier management in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated professional ethics, patience, resilience, and the ability to operate under pressure.
• Keen market awareness and ability to correctly evaluate market demands and supplier options.
• Exceptional coordination skills to align internal teams and external suppliers, with a proven record of resolving procurement challenges.
• Fluent English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening are required.
