Job description
Position Overview
MSZ Systems is hiring two experienced Access to Information (ATI) Analysts for a contract position based on-site in downtown Edmonton, Alberta. The role requires working five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine records to determine the need for information redaction.
- Assess the scope and details of access-to-information requests.
- Identify both responsive and duplicate records efficiently.
- Chronologically organize records for review and release.
- Generate correspondence for applicants and assemble release packages.
- Offer preliminary recommendations to ATI leadership based on document analysis.
- Maintain and update documentation within the ATI system for tracking requests.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least five years experience working autonomously and collaboratively in team settings.
- Minimum of four years proofreading and formatting proficiency specifically with Microsoft Word documents.
- A minimum of two years’ background in information governance, records management, or information management fields.
- Experience of four or more years reviewing and analyzing document content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro for document editing tasks.
- Understanding of privacy, security, and information management principles.
- Knowledge of access-to-information or privacy legislation and its applications.
- Experience working in environments managed through tickets or requests.

Work Location and Hours
