We are currently intensifying our efforts towards premium YouTube content and seek a talented long-form social producer to lead this initiative.

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area focuses on producing social-first, long-form content for YouTube. The selected candidate will work closely with our YouTube lead to develop and scale a lineup of impactful non-scripted YouTube series. This role demands a showrunner mentality and format-creation expertise, suited for professionals with backgrounds in TV development, reality, documentary, unscripted, social content, or creative studios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative unscripted or reality YouTube formats, progressing from concept through pilot to full series launch.
• Design scalable format engines, including challenge shows, game-based content, docu-style productions, live streams, and social experiments.
• Lead creative development by producing treatments, pitch decks, beat sheets, story outlines, and pilots.
• Manage production stages—pre-production, filming, and post-production—to maintain pacing, tone, and storytelling that maximizes audience retention.
• Collaborate effectively with producers, editors, talent, and creators throughout production cycles.
• Analyze performance metrics such as click-through rates, retention, and watch time to optimize formats and inform programming decisions.
• Identify and recruit promising hosts and creators for new series.
• Contribute to the creative and programming strategy for new YouTube channels across the company.
• Keep abreast of cultural trends to translate them into high-potential new programming.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of three years' experience crafting social stories.
• Experience in unscripted, reality, format development, or digital storytelling, including backgrounds in TV development, documentary, branded content, or social video.
• Proven ability to develop franchise-ready, repeatable content formats.
• Strong instincts for pacing, tension, humor, emotional impact, and audience engagement hooks.
• Capability to lead projects like a showrunner, managing vision from inception to completion.
• A deep understanding of internet-native storytelling and youth culture trends.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments where show formats evolve regularly.
• Mandatory qualities: format expertise, creative leadership, exceptional taste, and a proactive attitude.
• Prior YouTube experience is not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging between $70,000 and $85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
