Role Overview
Based in Christchurch and embedded in a close-knit local team with support from the broader Extremities division, the Territory Manager will focus on meeting established revenue objectives by expanding business with both new and existing surgical clients. This role is ideal for an individual dedicated to improving patient outcomes, with strong interpersonal skills and a drive to increase revenue.
Key Duties
- Meeting agreed sales targets through identifying and securing business with new and existing surgeons.
- Providing intraoperative assistance and support to Orthopaedic and Plastic surgeons during relevant procedures.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with surgeons and their nursing teams by offering training, education, and clinical case support.
- Ensuring all surgical cases are fully prepared with appropriate instrument kits, implants, and user documentation tailored to each customer's preferences.
Necessary Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience working in the medical sector, particularly within hospital theatre environments.
- Background in selling orthopaedic products and engagement with orthopaedic surgeons in hospital settings is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in related medical fields such as physiotherapy, paramedicine, biomedical engineering, anatomy, or nursing are preferred.
- Adaptable and resilient professional capable of working independently or collaboratively, with a commitment to delivering exemplary service to surgeons and healthcare facilities.
- Exceptional communication and persuasive abilities to swiftly build strong professional relationships.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and flexibility to travel within New Zealand.
