Summer Intern – Technical Services

About the Role

Located in New Plymouth, this opportunity is ideal for Computer Science or Data Science students eager to gain hands-on experience within the energy sector during the summer months. Preference is given to candidates with connections to the Taranaki region.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Technical Services team with identifying and testing AI and Copilot use cases.
• Contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Researching emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Mapping business workflows, pinpointing challenges, and supporting cross-functional workshops and innovation sessions.
• Coordinating action items and reporting on strategic projects.

Candidate Profile

• Currently pursuing studies in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to interpret technical data.
• Comfortable navigating various systems and software platforms.
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn within a supportive team environment.
