Role Overview

Are you ready to be a key player in maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring an immaculate kitchen environment? As a Steward Supervisor, you will play an essential role in supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and enabling chefs to work on a pristine canvas.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the efficient functioning of the stewarding department, supporting both kitchen and food & beverage teams to deliver outstanding guest dining experiences hotel-wide.
• Actively improve guest satisfaction by responding promptly and positively to their inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
• Implement stewarding plans and hotel objectives, ensuring all related targets are achieved.
• Lead and supervise the stewarding staff, promoting a culture focused on growth, development, and high performance within the department.
• Manage costs and inventory carefully, ensuring productivity and performance goals are met.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
• Own the scheduled deep cleaning and preventative maintenance efforts to uphold exemplary cleanliness standards and address any maintenance concerns.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and due diligence practices, maintaining documentation for internal and external audits and conducting follow-ups as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in stewarding or a related hospitality role.
• Strong leadership abilities with a practical, lead-by-example approach.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent guest service and passionate about the hospitality industry.
• Creative problem-solver capable of supporting team members and overcoming challenges.
• Possesses personal integrity and thrives in a high-standard, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with various IT systems and platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
