QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, and develop both functional and automated test cases ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for QA deliverables.
• Act as an individual contributor within the QA team.
• Engage in team communications and collaborate proactively during planning sessions such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Provide consistent and clear updates on project progress, including completed tasks, ongoing work, upcoming activities, risks, and quality status to stakeholders, product managers, and peers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in Quality Assurance and Testing with substantial hands-on experience in automation frameworks.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for UI Automation and strong knowledge of automation framework development.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like ALM, Testrail, and JIRA.
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript programming languages, including libraries and frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in manual and automated API testing using Rest Assured framework and Ready API.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud environments considered a plus.
• Ability to develop and execute clear use cases derived from product requirements and log defects systematically.
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with the capacity to build flexible, scalable automation frameworks and integrate automation into continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience authoring comprehensive test automation frameworks spanning UI, back-end integration, and database testing.
• Use SQL proficiently for writing and understanding complex queries and procedures.
