About the Role
This opportunity is offered through a partner organization seeking a skilled Paid Media Manager based in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining performant paid media strategies to enhance digital advertising efforts across prominent platforms.
As a Paid Media Manager, you will be instrumental in executing scalable campaigns, optimizing for better performance, and ensuring meaningful business results. This hands-on role involves managing ads on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, supplemented with advanced tracking and analytics technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, launch, and manage paid advertising initiatives across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance daily and adapt budgets, targeting, bidding strategies, placements, and creatives to maximize outcomes.
- Interpret campaign metrics to enhance cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, conversion effectiveness, and traffic quality.
- Oversee significant monthly ad budgets applying direct management within advertising tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges related to attribution, tracking fidelity, and conversion measurement accuracy.
- Utilize tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API to ensure precise reporting and tracking.
- Implement comprehensive creative testing across varied audiences, messaging, placements, and bidding approaches to improve campaign impact.
- Stay current with platform updates, privacy requirements, and new best practices within paid media.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients by sharing insights, recommendations, and campaign strategy updates.
- Promote knowledge exchange and contribute to a collaborative, results-focused marketing environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing paid media campaigns using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Deep understanding of campaign optimization techniques, audience development, bidding strategies, attribution models, and conversion tracking processes.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API.
- Proven capability in managing large advertising budgets within platform interfaces.
- Strong analytical aptitude to convert complex campaign data into clear, actionable intelligence.
- Excellent communication skills, including confidence in presenting campaign results and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive and inquisitive approach with a strong interest in testing, learning, and continuous performance improvement.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency environment is advantageous.
- Exposure to serving enterprise-scale or global brand clients is a plus.
- A background in consulting or entrepreneurial roles is considered beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
