Position Overview

This position is charged with ensuring timely and precise management of freight and tariff cost planning, variance analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, freight, and duty costs for both inbound and outbound logistics.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to verify daily freight accuracy and optimize costs.
• Analyze cost deviations and recommend corrective measures.
• Support budgeting activities by assisting in long-term planning, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.
• Gather and assess logistics and supply chain data to inform cost projections.
• Monitor budget compliance and raise flags on possible cost overruns through key performance indicators.
• Track variances in inventory, inbound/outbound freight, and tariffs, supporting root-cause analyses of significant deviations.
• Contribute to monthly reporting on plant cost performance.
• Collaborate with New Product Development and logistics to estimate landed costs and develop business cases, validating cost targets against benchmarks and market trends.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and visual dashboards presenting trends, savings, and benefits of localization.
• Maintain data integrity within ERP systems (SAP CO module), including setting up routing networks and auditing costing master data periodically.

Required Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in product costing or financial roles within manufacturing sectors; automotive or electric vehicle industry experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency with ERP platforms, especially SAP, and strong skills in Excel-based data analysis.
• Professional certification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent is required.
