Role Overview
The Manager of PR & Corporate Communications is essential in crafting, protecting, and enhancing Miral's corporate reputation. This position coordinates integrated corporate communications, public relations, executive storytelling, media relations, and stakeholder engagement across Miral and its subsidiaries, ensuring powerful and consistent messaging that supports strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate communications strategies aligned with Miral's business ambitions.
- Initiate and lead integrated campaigns that bolster brand reputation and market positioning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex initiatives into clear, audience-focused messages.
- Maintain consistent communication across corporate, executive, and stakeholder channels.
- Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to maximize coverage and enhance reputation.
- Produce high-quality communications content including press releases, executive speeches, media kits, and Q&A materials.
- Scout and develop newsworthy stories that highlight Miral’s growth, innovations, partnerships, and impacts on tourism and economy.
- Monitor media trends, emerging issues, and reputational risks, adapting communication strategies accordingly.
- Assess communications effectiveness using metrics such as media sentiment, audience reach, and share of voice.
- Support executive communication initiatives to boost leadership profiles and thought leadership on regional and global stages.
- Create executive narratives, speeches, presentations, and social media strategies that reflect Miral's vision and achievements.
- Forge and sustain strategic communications with government bodies, partners, and industry organizations.
- Provide communications counsel and messaging support for stakeholder engagement activities and major corporate announcements.
- Contribute to communications for government visits, official delegations, and high-profile events ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Assist in crisis communications and issues management to safeguard Miral’s reputation.
- Lead PR efforts relating to Miral’s corporate social responsibility and community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate communication of CSR achievements and Miral Impact Fund milestones to internal and external audiences.
- Oversee brand governance by ensuring all communications meet corporate standards and messaging frameworks.
- Continuously improve communication tools and channels to enhance effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.
- Promote best practices in corporate communications and storytelling across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields from a reputed university.
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, executive communications, or reputation management.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing strategic communications to enhance corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence leadership.
- Deep expertise in media relations, executive profiling, government communications, and crisis management within fast-paced environments.
- Highly proactive, commercially aware, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
