Role Overview
We are looking to hire a motivated and detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the transportation of goods through various channels, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery. This role acts as a pivotal liaison among clients, carriers, and internal teams to enable smooth logistics operations. The position is permanent, full-time, and available immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and tracking transportation of shipments via multiple transport modes in alignment with schedules and budgetary limits.
- Communicating effectively with clients, carriers, and team members to ensure streamlined logistics processes.
- Preparing, vetting, and maintaining shipment documentation such as customs paperwork, bills of lading, and invoicing.
- Monitoring shipment progress and providing timely updates to clients and involved parties.
- Promptly identifying and resolving supply chain disruptions or delays.
- Enhancing transportation routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce expenditures.
- Keeping detailed records of all logistics activities and transactions for reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Contributing to the creation and refinement of logistics strategies and process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in logistics coordination or supply chain roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office and logistics management software.
- Capacity to work under pressure, prioritize work, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and the local language; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proactive mindset with dedication to ongoing professional development.
