Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lift Service Technician to join our Existing Installation and Maintenance team based in Avondale, Auckland. This permanent, full-time role involves maintaining and repairing lifts and escalators across the Auckland region, elevating customer experience through exemplary service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repairs on lifts and escalators in Auckland.
  • Identify sales opportunities to promote Schindler Service and Repairs, supporting business growth.
  • Provide technical support and training to the regional team, including safety and quality initiatives.
  • Support the Sales department through site surveys and customer visits.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Lift Service Technician or Lift Repairs Technician, or hold a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (Trade Certificate or Diploma) in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
  • Registered with EWRB as an Electrical Service Technician, holding either a Limited Certificate or Provisional License.
  • Possess a full, clean New Zealand driver's license.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Practical and analytical thinker who enjoys technical challenges.
  • Highly responsible, flexible, and accountable in work ethic.
