About the Company
Our client is a prominent beverage manufacturing firm in Tanzania that produces a range of products including bottled drinking water, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices, catering to the Tanzanian market.
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function. The ideal candidate will develop and implement people strategies that align with business goals, promote a high-performance culture, and ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent to sustain business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and deploy HR strategies that correspond with the company’s objectives.
- Manage performance appraisal, employee engagement, and training/development programs.
- Offer strategic advice to leadership on organizational growth and managing change.
- Ensure adherence to Tanzanian labor legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Design and update HR policies, procedures, and compensation & benefits schemes.
- Lead initiatives that foster employee wellbeing, diversity, inclusivity, and a positive work culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related fields.
- A Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related discipline is a plus.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in senior HR leadership positions.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, and performance management.
- Membership in a recognized professional HR organization is advantageous.
- Skilled in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office tools.
