Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Set Accountant to join our team, responsible for ensuring precise financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and boosting operational efficiency within the dynamic construction and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, examine, and deliver accurate financial and statutory reports on schedule to support regulatory compliance and business decisions.
• Manage month-end closing tasks, including bank reconciliations, accrual entries, general ledger maintenance, and cost allocation to uphold financial accuracy.
• Evaluate profit and loss variances across different projects and offer management recommendations based on these analyses.
• Handle invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable to enhance cash flow management.
• Ensure correctness and reconciliation of inter-company transactions for financial dependability.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and prepare documentation to facilitate audits.
• Prepare and file GST returns complying with applicable regulations.
• Assess and enhance accounting workflows to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
• Assist in ERP system deployment and automate processes to streamline accounting operations.
• Engage with auditors, banking partners, tax consultants, and corporate secretaries ensuring smooth external interaction.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to refine accounting methods and resolve discrepancies.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as required to support changing business demands.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is required.
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within construction or manufacturing sectors.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with ERP software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), is advantageous.
