About the Role
At Marriott International, the Food and Beverage Service Specialist plays a vital part in crafting memorable dining experiences that go beyond simply serving food and drinks. Key Responsibilities
The position requires standing, sitting, or moving continuously on various floor surfaces, managing menu details visually and verbally, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, or pushing objects up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Adherence to workplace safety, company policies, quality standards, and professional appearance is mandatory. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to deliver consistent excellence in service every time.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Less than one year of related work experience
- No prior supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications necessary
