Role Overview

The Cleaning Services Worker I is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas to uphold customer and client satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities can differ depending on the specific location and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean all assigned areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Properly use and store cleaning equipment after use.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or deficiencies.
• Check that all equipment is safe and operational.
• Assist with linen handling and management tasks.
• Perform additional spring or deep cleaning duties as required.
• Operate onsite washing machines for internal laundry tasks when applicable.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and Fire Safety policies.
• Report any hazards noticed to Management promptly.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene in all components of work.
• Address customer feedback and complaints in line with company or component policies.
• Maintain personal appearance and hygiene, including appropriate clothing, footwear, and headgear at all times.
• Engage in company training programs aimed at enhancing job performance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Comply with any reasonable instructions given by Aramark Management.

Qualifications and Work Conditions

• Ability to follow established procedures to execute routine cleaning tasks effectively.
• Polite and respectful demeanor towards clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility with work hours and tasks as required.
• The role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged walking and standing.
• Use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected.
