Job description
About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established company to recruit a knowledgeable Insurance professional for a permanent position. This role is vital to the accurate handling of premiums, claims, commissions, program expenses, and associated tax and reporting duties across various insurance portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison for designated insurance portfolios, supporting both internal teams and external clients.
- Conduct thorough premium validation checks to assist with month-end accounting, reporting, and tax compliance requirements.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of premium and commission invoicing, addressing any data queries or inconsistencies.
- Process claims, program-related costs, and claims-handling invoices within company systems following established controls.
- Oversee payments related to insurance tax responsibilities, ensuring timely fulfillment of obligations.
- Collaborate with outsourced tax service providers and verify periodic tax returns and all related documentation.
- Update and maintain team processes, procedures, and internal documentation, while identifying opportunities to enhance controls and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in insurance administration with an emphasis on transactional processing and reporting tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax processes and compliance, particularly those involving premium-related duties.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to adhere to deadlines within a structured, process-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
Additional Information
This position offers an annual compensation package in the range of €40,000 to €45,000 plus additional benefits, details of which will be discussed during initial stages. The work arrangement is on-site or hybrid based in Dublin.
