About the Role

We are inviting innovative and bold talents to join our team as Cargo Pricing Specialists in Doha, supporting our strategic growth and leadership in the air cargo sector.

In this position, you will oversee pricing performance across designated markets by developing effective pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and seizing revenue optimization opportunities. You will guide pricing policy formulation, monitor market and competitor dynamics, and deliver data-driven insights instrumental for business growth. Collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management, and Network Planning teams will be critical to achieving our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main pricing contact for assigned markets, trade lanes, and customer segments, handling daily pricing operations and monitoring commercial outcomes.
Assist the Cargo Pricing Manager in crafting and implementing short to long-term pricing initiatives that align with regional sales and pricing goals.
Track booking trends, demand patterns, and other performance indicators, proactively adjusting pricing tactics through designated tools to enhance revenue and yield.
Define, program, test, and update business rules within pricing systems to meet evolving cargo pricing needs.
Continually analyze market shifts, competitor behaviors, capacity alterations, and economic trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Lead cargo pricing and customer tender processes, including rate management, pricing negotiations, and RFQ coordination to foster revenue growth and network efficiency.
Translate market data into actionable pricing recommendations that drive maximized revenue, market share, and network contribution.
Influence stakeholders across various departments with data-based recommendations and business justifications.
Assess Joint Business market activities to propose pricing strategies, initiatives, and procedural enhancements supporting agreed business targets, ensuring implementation and measurement.
Prepare and present concise, data-supported commercial analyses and recommendations to senior management, highlighting market insights, pricing tactics, trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in commercial, analytical, or quantitative fields.
Preferably educated in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Aviation Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain disciplines.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity to interpret complex commercial and operational datasets.
Experience in using market intelligence and pricing data for commercial decisions.
Background in air cargo, airlines, logistics, or transportation is highly desirable.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influence with effective communication abilities.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
