About The Team
The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are energetic and dynamic groups focused on securing business opportunities that help position Shopee as the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Their mission is to offer Shopee’s customers a broad selection of products at competitive prices.
Job Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss for the Beauty category and achieve set targets.
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing category team, managing their growth and performance.
- Collaborate closely with both local and regional teams to implement initiatives.
- Monitor beauty category trends and analyze seller and buyer behaviors to guide informed decisions.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships within the local market and expand these collaborations.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Have at least two years of experience working in a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
- Experience in the beauty or FMCG sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to manage senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Demonstrated business insight and acumen.
- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced work environment.
