Role Overview
The Social Insights Analyst role is central in providing data-driven insights and comprehensive reporting using our proprietary technology platform, Hookit. Hookit assesses social media engagement and sponsorship impact within the sports and entertainment sectors, enabling brands, rights holders, and their partners to understand and optimize value through social channels.
This position involves generating reports and analyses, ensuring data accuracy, crafting actionable insights, and assisting clients in maximizing platform utilization. The analyst will collaborate extensively with consultants to ensure timely and consistent delivery of insights. This role bridges data analysis, product expertise, sports and entertainment knowledge, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and distribute recurring reports, including monthly, quarterly, campaign, and event reviews for clients.
- Interpret social media performance data to provide meaningful insights that explain underlying causes and suggest ways to enhance results between brands, rights holders, and partners.
- Spot significant trends and drivers in social content and partnership performance to guide client best practices.
- Work alongside Product Operations to tailor client-facing dashboards, ensuring they align precisely with client contracts and reporting requirements.
- Conduct onboarding sessions, demonstrating essential platform features and serving as an ongoing resource for client inquiries and usage guidance.
- Support daily client needs by collaborating with consultants to manage around 10 to 15 client accounts.
- Monitor data integrity and resolve inconsistencies by coordinating with internal teams.
- Maintain uniformity in the collection, tracking, and presentation of social performance data across client portfolios.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, social media, or digital marketing roles.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital performance metrics, or sponsorship analytics tools is highly desirable.
- Previous experience within sports, entertainment, or brand marketing sectors is preferred.
- Client-facing experience or supporting client deliverables is advantageous.
Competencies and Skills
- Skill in detecting significant data trends and patterns.
- Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication capabilities.
Technical Proficiencies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with social media analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, and X Analytics.
- Knowledge of third-party social media analytics tools like Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, or Sprinklr is desirable.
- Familiarity with data visualization or reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio is a plus.
Compensation Details
The base salary for this position ranges between 65000 and 75000 USD annually. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, experience, training, and organizational needs. This salary range represents a component of the total employee compensation package.
