About the Role and Organization
Join the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) in Richland, Washington, and contribute to the vital mission of ensuring a sustainable future for the historic Hanford Site by protecting the Columbia River and restoring the Central Plateau. CPCCo is dedicated to safely managing hazardous waste through innovative and committed efforts that make a significant environmental impact.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Compose, format, and edit technical documents for official release.
- Provide support and backup to the Executive Secretary within the Waste and Operations projects.
- Prepare presentations, document meeting minutes, and handle interoffice communications.
- Coordinate records management, including processing records via IDMS and managing electronic records authorizations.
- Organize training schedules, assist with training plans, and support employee job task analysis preparation.
- Manage staff calendars, scheduling meetings and training sessions efficiently.
- Oversee the required reading system by administering the project’s compliance through the site’s Required Reading platform.
- Assist with project relocations by coordinating moves, including coordinating computer disconnects and reconnects through the site Service Catalog.
- Order office supplies and ensure proper documentation for purchase requests is prepared.
- Track project property using the Sunflower database.
- Maintain the project action tracking system by collaborating with project leadership to update statuses.
- Control custodial duties for copiers, printers, facility keys, and manage conference room scheduling.
- Engage with various project management levels while maintaining confidentiality.
- Administer the project key control system.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 6 level: High School diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Grade 7 level: High School diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
The offered level depends on the company’s requirements and candidate’s background, training, and experience.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability in non-technical editing of reports, correspondence, and documents.
- Experience coordinating personnel moves.
- Strong customer service skills, positive attitude, and ability to work well under pressure.
- High competency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary is determined by CPCCo's internal process reflecting job scope and candidate qualifications, without soliciting prior salary history.
- Grade 6 annual salary range: $47,450 to $75,950.
- Grade 7 annual salary range: $52,300 to $83,650.
- Variable pay awards may also be available.
