Job description
Overview
This permanent full-time position involves working in the Yard and Drive Thru area where you will assist customers, handle loading and unloading of products, and maintain inventory. The role operates 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday plus rostered Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customers in the timber yard and Drive Thru department
- Load products onto customer vehicles efficiently and safely
- Process customer orders and transactions accurately
- Prepare orders for delivery as needed
- Oversee inventory management and conduct cycle counts
- Assist with warehouse operations to maintain smooth workflow
- Operate a forklift safely and competently
Candidate Profile
- Possess a full clean class 1 driver licence and preferably a forklift licence or experience
- Have previous trade, product knowledge, or warehousing experience
- Physically capable with strong adherence to health and safety standards
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Detail-focused and well-organized
- Basic computer and numeracy skills
