Workshop Technician - Mechanical Workshop

About the Role

We are looking for a proficient Workshop Technician to join our Prototype Workshop team at Al Tariq. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication of components and sub-components based on engineering drawings, while supporting mechanical manufacturing tasks and maintaining excellent craftsmanship on development and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule machining tasks effectively.
• Produce components adhering strictly to specified tolerance limits.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure continuous, flawless operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Certification and experience as a manual Lathe and Milling Machine operator.
• Proficiency in designing and constructing various types of jigs.
• Basic knowledge of welding and metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering blueprints accurately.
• Confident operation of multiple machine tools.
