Job description
Overview
The role involves planning, coordinating, and supporting safe and cost-effective well intervention operations to enhance oil and gas production and injection processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop well intervention programs involving slickline, coiled tubing, pumping, and other related activities.
- Collaborate with Production, Petroleum Engineering, offshore teams, and contractors to align well intervention operations.
- Ensure all interventions comply with HSE policies and ALARP safety standards.
- Organize personnel, equipment, and material requirements for offshore operations.
- Oversee equipment and material mobilization and shipment to offshore sites.
- Supervise offshore operations to confirm they follow approved plans.
- Analyze daily operational reports and track Non-Productive Time (NPT) metrics.
- Manage contracts tied to well intervention and evaluate contractor performance.
- Identify operational risks and enforce mitigation and contingency procedures.
- Contribute to operational meetings and coordination efforts.
- Document lessons learned and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of programs, reports, and relevant documentation.
- Provide performance feedback regarding contractors and assist in service quality evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including a minimum of 3 years working offshore.
- Comprehensive understanding of well intervention activities such as Slickline, Coiled Tubing, pumping, and well treatments.
- Familiarity with well completion and workover equipment.
- Proven experience with equipment planning, mobilization, and managing offshore logistics.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Possession of IWCF Level 4 certification is preferred or required.
