Role Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to join the Thomas Street team. The position involves ensuring all shifts in the soup and dessert manufacturing facility receive the required raw and packaging materials while maintaining effective yard operations. The role primarily operates on a daytime schedule but requires flexible availability to cover other shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage raw material inventories by collaborating with procurement to oversee daily deliveries, control truck movements, enforce FIFO stock rotation, and conduct stock audits.
• Oversee packaging material inventory, coordinating arrivals, storage, adherence to FIFO principles, and stocktaking aligned with procurement schedules.
• Maintain racking systems to guarantee correct materials placement, enforce FIFO and allergen control protocols, and ensure traceability.
• Supervise yard personnel, manage all incoming truck deliveries, ensure proper traffic flow, and oversee transportation of raw materials, finished products, waste, and pallet management within the yard.

Essential Requirements

• Active participation in internal meetings to set priorities and assign tasks.
• Collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain teams for managing raw material and packaging deliveries.
• Coordination with operations regarding shipment of finished products.
• Management of traffic flow for all yard deliveries.
• Strict compliance with site Environmental, Health and Safety standards, including training and regulations.
• Understanding and application of lean principles and problem-solving techniques to improve process efficiency.
• Adherence to all company policies at local and corporate levels and acting by the company’s guiding principles and Corporate Code of Conduct.
• Will perform additional tasks as assigned by direct management.
