Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

As the Warehouse Manager at GummyWorks based in West Palm Beach, FL, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This includes the safe and accurate handling of raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished goods related to the company’s supply chain activities. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, supporting production, enforcing quality and safety standards, and driving operational efficiency through best practices.

Key Duties

• Supervise comprehensive warehouse functions such as receiving, storage, inventory control, replenishment, kitting, picking, packing, shipping, and material handling.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff fostering safety, accountability, and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure only authorized personnel conduct material picking and inventory transactions to protect inventory accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse space, labor utilization, and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation, lot traceability, expiration management, and location accuracy.
• Oversee timely and precise completion of ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions using barcode and radio frequency scanning tools.
• Develop and track key warehouse performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, pick accuracy, dock-to-stock time, order cycle time, on-time in full delivery (OTIF), labor productivity, and shipping accuracy.
• Collaborate regularly with teams across supply chain, production, planning, purchasing, quality, customer service, and transportation departments.
• Lead cycle count programs with robust investigation and corrective measures to maintain inventory accuracy exceeding 98%.
• Manage customer order fulfillment ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Champion warehouse process standardization, Lean initiatives, and assist with ERP/WMS implementation projects.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of progressive warehouse leadership experience in sectors such as nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume fulfillment.
• Strong expertise in fulfillment operations including order picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and customer service.
• Proven ability to lead warehouse teams in fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Deep knowledge of ERP and WMS systems, warehouse automation, barcode and RF scanning technologies, and best inventory practices.
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and safety compliance standards applicable to warehouse settings.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume fulfillment, e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer distribution operations.
• History implementing ERP, WMS, barcode scanning, and warehouse automation solutions.
• Knowledge or experience in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Warehousing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
