About the Role
The Wardrobe Supervisor position at Rosewood AMAALA entails comprehensive oversight of the uniform lifecycle for all resort associates, ensuring grooming and presentation uphold the luxury standards synonymous with the Rosewood brand. The role involves managing uniform issuance, fittings, alterations, repairs, inventory control, and replacement schedules. Effective collaboration with Talent & Culture, Housekeeping, Laundry, and department leaders is essential for seamless operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete uniform lifecycle, including sizing, fittings, adjustments, repairs, replacements, and seasonal updates.
- Manage daily wardrobe operations such as distribution, collection, tracking, and record keeping of uniforms.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory encompassing uniforms, accessories, name badges, and related items.
- Ensure stock levels meet demands for new hires, replacements, and pre-opening needs.
- Coordinate with Talent & Culture to prepare uniforms ahead of new associates' start dates.
- Work closely with Laundry and Housekeeping departments to ensure timely cleaning, pressing, and maintenance of uniform quality.
- Monitor compliance with grooming and uniform standards across departments in accordance with Rosewood's brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of uniforms, report damages, discrepancies, or shortages.
- Manage uniform storage areas to guarantee cleanliness, order, and security.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and forecasting related to uniform procurement and maintenance alongside Talent & Culture and Finance teams.
- Handle documentation for uniform issuance and return during onboarding and exit processes.
- Support sustainability goals through responsible use of uniforms, repair initiatives, and waste reduction methods.
- Educate associates on uniform care standards and brand presentation expectations.
- Address associate queries and requests concerning uniforms promptly and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding associates' measurements and personal details.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast uniform requirements for peak periods and operational changes.
- Work with Security and Talent & Culture during clearance procedures to ensure proper uniform accountability at associate departures.
- Lead and supervise wardrobe attendants or support personnel as necessary.
- Foster Rosewood’s core values and service culture in all daily interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess 4 to 6 years’ relevant experience in wardrobe, uniform management, laundry operations, or similar hospitality roles within luxury settings.
- At least 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience working in pre-opening or resort environments is an advantage.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, tailoring, garment alterations, and maintenance is necessary.
