Overview
Soroc is seeking a Vice President of Technology and Innovation to partner with a healthcare client located in Toronto. This permanent full-time role focuses on shaping and executing the organization's technology, product, innovation, and cybersecurity strategies. The VP will oversee the creation and management of digital products and the broader technology ecosystem, including various domains such as product management, software engineering, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data and analytics, technology operations, and innovation initiatives.
The mission involves building a secure, scalable, and modern technology platform to support high-quality virtual and hybrid care. The role champions an exceptional experience for clients, clinicians, and patients while fostering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's digital strategy and multi-year technology roadmap to ensure alignment with Canadian healthcare market demands, regulatory standards, internal priorities, and global strategies.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, commercial, operations, legal, privacy, compliance teams and global technology leaders to enhance enterprise data governance and promote responsible data and AI usage.
- Drive technology solutions that support revenue growth, innovation, clinical care quality, security, and efficiency across operations.
- Manage product portfolios, roadmaps, budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery results effectively.
- Provide executive leadership to diverse functions including technology modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise technology operations.
- Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary, and distributed teams operating within complex multinational corporate structures.
- Communicate strategically and engage stakeholders across multiple departments to foster collaboration and change leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Over 12 years of progressive senior leadership experience encompassing technology, product management, digital transformation, or data and analytics in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Proven success in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with business goals and yield tangible outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging tech trends.
- Hands-on experience leading technology modernization efforts and managing enterprise technology operations.
- Exceptional skills in executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management with the ability to work across clinical, commercial, operational, legal, privacy, and compliance teams as well as global partners.
- Expertise in strategic planning, portfolio management, and operational execution within complex, multinational setups.
Additional Details
- Location: Hybrid work model with 2-3 days onsite at Downtown Toronto offices.
- Employment Type: Permanent, full-time position.
- Annual Base Salary: 200000 CAD.
