About the role
RideVisMedia is hiring a full-time videographer to take charge of video production for its client work. The role covers short-form reels, property walkthroughs, cafe and restaurant promotional videos, and personal branding shoots. It sits at the heart of the studio’s content workflow and involves close coordination with the Project Manager and creative team to visually translate brand stories.
Key responsibilities
- Create short-form reels, property walkthroughs, and promotional videos for clients in food and hospitality, real estate, and personal branding.
- Use camera, gimbal, lighting, and audio gear during shoots at client locations.
- Work with scriptwriters and the photography team to organize shot lists and plan shoot schedules.
- Hand over raw footage to the video editor in a well-structured format, with clear notes on shots captured.
- Keep up with current short-form content trends and use modern production methods suitable for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Look after personal equipment and solve basic technical issues that come up while shooting on location.
Requirements
- A portfolio or reel that shows short-form video work such as reels, walkthroughs, or similar projects.
- Own essential production equipment, including a camera, gimbal or stabilizer, and audio gear.
- Hands-on experience filming in active, real-world settings such as events, businesses, or property locations.
- Must be based in the Greater Boston area or able to travel there for shoots.
- Comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced creative environment.

Compensation
