About the Role
A prominent family-owned food processing and distribution company based in Boston is in search of a Vice President of Supply Chain to oversee and enhance all aspects of supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement supply chain strategies aimed at boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service quality.
- Promote operational excellence by driving process optimization, leveraging analytics, and applying best practices.
- Collaborate with leaders across different functions to support company growth and increase customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier partnerships while identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain.
- Lead and inspire teams focusing on accountability, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
