Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a Verification Specialist to join our team at OrbiTouch HR located in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive employee background verification checks as part of our OrbitVerify product. The work schedule is Monday to Saturday with Sunday off, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on-site.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify employment details through multiple channels including phone calls, emails, and third-party sources.
- Collaborate closely with HR teams, supervisors, and external organizations to confirm employment history, job titles, compensation, and reason for leaving.
- Assess and authenticate employment documents such as offer letters, relieving letters, and salary slips.
- Accurately record verification results in internal systems promptly.
- Report inconsistencies, red flags, or delayed verifications according to company procedures.
- Ensure adherence to turnaround times and maintain stringent quality standards.
- Assist with audits and contribute to continuous process enhancements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in employment background verification with a reputed background check company.
- Excellent communication abilities and strong organizational skills.
- Proven capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with effective problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to the highest levels of quality and compliance standards.
Work Conditions and Benefits
- Location: Office premises in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi (walking distance from Tilak Nagar metro station).
- Working Days: Six days a week (Monday to Saturday), Sundays off.
- Shift Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Salary: Fixed monthly pay of 30,000 INR.
