About the Role
Soccer Shots - Orange County seeks an insightful and inquisitive User Researcher to join its expanding team in Orange County, CA. This position will be pivotal in shaping impactful user experiences by extracting profound user insights and facilitating decisions grounded in data. Individuals passionate about comprehending user behavior and transforming research into actionable strategies are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative user research, employing methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Distill research outcomes into clear, practical insights for multidisciplinary teams.
- Create user personas, map user journeys, and develop experience frameworks to support design and product choices.
- Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to pinpoint and prioritize research projects.
- Champion the user's viewpoint throughout product design and development phases.
- Oversee a user research database to maintain historical insight records.
- Effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders in an engaging and understandable manner.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in UX or user research or related specializations.
- Skilled in diverse research techniques like interviews, A/B testing, and ethnographic research.
- Strong critical thinking skills to interpret complex datasets into straightforward conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities tailored for varied audiences.
- Familiarity with research software such as UserTesting, Dovetail, Lookback, or equivalents.
- Capacity to juggle numerous research initiatives within a dynamic setting.
- A cooperative and empathetic attitude with a sincere enthusiasm for user behavior understanding.
