Treasury Officer

Position Overview

The Treasury Officer will support and execute treasury and general accounting functions within the organization. This role demands expertise in managing payments, audits, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and handling accounts payable and receivable.

Core Duties

• Monitor daily cash flow and forecast upcoming cash requirements.
• Handle payments and receipts including wire and ACH transfers.
• Manage and maintain bank accounts and authorized signatories.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate any inconsistencies.
• Evaluate investment options and allocate surplus funds into appropriate investments.
• Track investment outcomes and oversee portfolio risk management.
• Identify financial risks such as FX volatility and interest rate fluctuations and implement hedging strategies accordingly.
• Prepare treasury reports for senior leadership, including cash flow projections and liquidity evaluations.
• Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners to negotiate favorable service terms, credit lines, and financing deals.
• Ensure treasury operations comply with all applicable regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
• Skillful in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Experience using treasury management systems and relevant software.
• Familiarity with applicable regulatory compliance standards.
• Professional treasury certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling or handling complex financial analyses.
• Experience with international financial regulations and managing cross-border transactions.
