Transport Executive

Job Overview

The Transport Executive will oversee the transportation network, ensuring vehicle availability, manpower allocation, and the integrity of the cold chain, all while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out deliveries strictly according to schedules.
• Monitor shipments continuously to guarantee timely arrival to customers.
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers, sales, and customer service teams about delivery updates.
• Keep precise records of proof of delivery documentation.
• Manage all reverse logistics operations effectively.
• Compile and prepare necessary reports regularly.
• Enforce compliance with traffic laws, safety standards, and ensure routine vehicle upkeep.
• Use route optimization systems to minimize transportation expenses and fuel consumption.
• Plan employee shifts, monitor attendance, and assign daily delivery routes efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management, ideally in the FMCG sector.
• Familiarity with local and regional transport rules and route knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
