About the Role
Copart, a global leader in online vehicle auctions with more than 200 locations worldwide and a network connecting over 750,000 buyers across 190 countries, is hiring a Title Specialist in London, Ontario. This role involves daily management and processing of vehicle titles adhering to state and company regulations, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for vehicle titles.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify and analyze vehicle title and ownership documents following company policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Process vehicle titles according to state-specific guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to missing or incorrect title documents promptly.
- Communicate daily with customers via email and phone to address title-related concerns.
- Build professional relationships with DMV officials and vehicle sellers.
- Maintain organized title filing systems as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma.
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service.
- At least one year working in vehicle title processing.
- Proficiency with computers, particularly MS Office and word processing.
- Typing speed of 45 words per minute.
- Basic 10-key calculator skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to focus on computer screens for prolonged durations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of title regulations in local and surrounding states preferred.
- Mandatory numeric and alphabetic filing skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Notary license is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $24.60 to $27.71.
