Overview

We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Third Party Risk & Compliance Specialist for a full-time, six-month contract based in Dublin. This role sits within the Information Security team and focuses on advancing operational resilience and compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The Specialist will primarily work on testing and improving supplier exit strategies and supporting ongoing DORA compliance efforts across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead testing and remediation efforts for supplier exit strategies within the organisation's third-party supplier network.
  • Identify weaknesses in supplier exit planning and drive corrective actions by engaging both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Manage and support the maintenance of the Register of Information in alignment with DORA guidelines.
  • Assess and advise on DORA-related contract addendums.
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive governance and compliance reports monthly and quarterly to support DORA oversight.
  • Assist in third-party risk management activities including supplier onboarding, due diligence, and re-risk evaluations consistent with DORA standards.
  • Engage in monthly steering committee meetings related to DORA compliance and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate closely with Information Security, Procurement, Legal, and business units to enhance organisational operational resilience.
  • Offer additional assistance on DORA and third-party risk matters as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least three years of experience in Information Security, Operational Resilience, Third-Party Risk Management, or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting DORA or comparable regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of operational resilience principles and third-party risk management practices.
  • Experienced in conducting supplier risk assessments and managing remediation processes.
  • Proficient in supplier governance, contract analysis, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge both stakeholders and suppliers when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability in documentation, reporting, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Able to operate independently in a fast-moving, regulated environment.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Exposure to financial services or other regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with DORA reporting and operational resilience obligations.
