The employer is associated with Star Health & Allied Insurance Co. Ltd., a leading private health insurance provider in India. The company is based in Chennai and started operations in 2006 as the country’s first standalone health insurance company.
Role Overview
This position is for a Tele Sales profile focused on handling company-provided leads, understanding customer insurance requirements, and offering suitable health insurance solutions over the phone.
What You Will Be Doing
- Reach out to prospects using lead lists supplied by the company.
- Assess the insurance needs of potential customers through effective conversations.
- Present appropriate insurance options, respond to queries, and provide guidance during the sales process.
- Maintain clear and professional communication in English.
- Keep track of customer and company-related updates and records as needed.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for someone with strong spoken English and the ability to communicate confidently with customers. Prior experience of around 6 months in telesales or a related sales function is expected.
Compensation
The offered annual CTC is in the range of INR 3,00,000 to INR 3,50,000.
