Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Writer & QA Engineer who will ensure our software is both understandable and reliable. This role involves crafting high-quality documentation and thorough testing to identify issues before they affect users, focusing on B2B iGaming products. Our platform is a Player Account Management (PAM) system used daily by casino and sportsbook operators, internal support, marketing, and engineering teams. Your work directly impacts compliance and customer satisfaction by preventing errors and ambiguities.
Responsibilities
- Create clear, practical documentation including operator guides, internal references, release notes, and process documents, tailored for diverse audiences such as clients' operations teams, engineers, support, and marketing.
- Adapt writing style and content depth to suit different readers, ensuring clarity for various stakeholders.
- Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing, generate reproducible bug reports, and communicate issues effectively to developers.
- Maintain alignment between documentation and actual product state, updating materials proactively.
- Act as an early quality indicator by testing new features from the user’s perspective and reporting readiness or concerns.
- Lead internal initiatives such as regulatory product certifications or training programs, managing timelines and stakeholder communications.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent ability to simplify complex information and write for the intended audience.
- Strong testing and quality assurance skills, with attention to edge cases and clear defect documentation.
- Experience collaborating with technical and business teams, adapting communication appropriately.
- Solid technical understanding to comprehend and document software components and issues.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for drafting and research, coupled with critical evaluation to verify content accuracy.
- Strong ownership mentality and integrity, especially vital in regulated environments.
Preferred Skills
- Project coordination experience, including team alignment and risk management.
- Knowledge of iGaming domain specifics such as bonuses, wagering, KYC, age verification, odds, and payouts.
