About the Role
Derby Nursery by Dibber, part of a leading Scandinavian early childhood education group, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the expanding team located in Sharjah, UAE. We strive to provide nurturing spaces where children feel secure, valued, and motivated to become curious and confident lifelong learners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in fostering a warm, secure, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Promote children's curiosity, self-confidence, and autonomy through daily engagements.
- Support implementation of classroom activities, routines, and educational experiences.
- Encourage and support children’s social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Establish and maintain positive connections with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
- Contribute actively to a cheerful and inspiring nursery environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings is beneficial.
- Strong enthusiasm and passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
- Possess a caring, patient, and optimistic disposition.
- Excellent communication abilities and capability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Sharjah.
