Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the Tax Team with implementation of tax requirements, compliance processes, and digitalization projects.
  • Support Project Tax Screening (PTS) through conducting tax reviews and gathering, analyzing, and documenting pertinent information.
  • Collaborate with various business units to document tax matters within Salesforce.
  • Contribute to VAT-related subjects, including coordinating VAT returns and handling tax inquiries.
  • Review event-related expenses for relevant tax compliance.
  • Support recurring tax compliance activities such as DAC6 reporting, withholding tax matters, and residency certificates.
  • Prepare documentation and data for tax audits and internal compliance reviews.
  • Maintain and enhance tax process documentation as part of the Tax Control Framework.
  • Participate in digital tools, automation initiatives, and process improvement measures within the tax function.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., tax clerk, industrial clerk, office management clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Alternatively, a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, taxation, or related fields.
  • From entry to several years of professional experience in taxation, tax compliance, accounting, or finance.
  • Basic knowledge of national and preferably international tax law.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or comparable systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Structured, precise, and independent working approach.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in process optimization and digitalization.
