About South Fremantle Football Club

Established over 125 years ago, South Fremantle Football Club (SFFC) is a well-regarded and historic football organization located in Western Australia. Competing in the WAFL, the club has a strong heritage for nurturing young football talent and facilitating their progression to senior football at WAFL and AFL levels.

Opportunity Overview

In alignment with our commitment to excellence, we invite passionate professionals to become part of our Colts Talent Pathways program for the upcoming season. These key roles help foster a positive environment, culture, and developmental pathway for emerging football athletes.

Available Positions

  • Head Coach - Colts Strength & Conditioning
  • Development Coaches specializing in Talls, Skills, and Bench support

These positions are critical in ensuring comprehensive player development within a high-performance framework that prepares participants for senior-level football.

Candidate Profile

We encourage applications from individuals experienced in coaching, athlete development, high-performance sporting environments, or football operations. Above all, candidates must demonstrate dedication to positively influencing the growth and journey of young players representing the club's colors.

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant coaching accreditations including Level 1 and Level 2
  • Registered Exercise or Fitness professional certification
  • Valid Working with Children and Vulnerable People checks
  • Possession of a driver's license

Desirable Credentials

  • Degree in Sports Management or Business
  • First Aid certification
  • Degree in Human Movement, Coaching, Exercise Science, or Sports Science
  • Level 3 Coaching accreditation
  • Qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach certificate
  • Certificate III in Sport Coaching
